Located in Duck Mountain Provincial Park, Child's Lake is ideal for fishing, swimming, boating and canoeing. In Child's Lake, one can catch trout, northern pike, splake, walleye, and yellow perch.
Scenic Goose Lake is located within the town of Roblin. A campground situated by the lake has electrical hookups, barbecue pits, picnic sites, fire wood, drinking water and showers.

Goose Lake is aerated and is stocked every year with Rainbow and Brown Trout, providing excellent fishing year-round. The lake is how Roblin became known as the Fly-Fishing Capital of Manitoba.

Lake of the Prairies was constructed in 1968 by the impounding of the Assiniboine River near Shellmouth, Manitoba. The Lake which formed behind the Shellmouth Dam is 67 kilometres long and has a surface area of 15,000 acres. The Dam was originally built as a flood control measure and is now a premier walleye lake. The lake is ideal for fishing, boating and wild-life viewing. A growing cottage industry is developing along Lake of the Prairies, located 5km west of Roblin.
