On behalf of the citizens of the Municipality of Roblin, welcome to the Jewel of the Parkland. Our town is the ideal small town to live in, with its strong sense of community, and a great place to work, play and raise a family. From our beautiful urban and rural spaces, the peaceful nature of our area, government professionalism and citizens’ involvement, the Roblin area makes for a caring and friendly community.

In addition to a great location and lifestyle, within Roblin there are many services that can accommodate the needs of the community, including a K-8 and a 9-12 school, hospital and clinic services, dental office, optometrist, chiropractor, paved air strip, public library, and recreational facilities that includes an arena, swimming pool, curling rink and ball diamonds. There are a variety of biking and hiking trails, such as the Crocus Trail, and an opportunity to enjoy a round of golf at the local golf course.

The community of Roblin is situated between two parks, the Riding Mountain National Park and the Duck Mountain Provincial Park, which provides for an abundance of recreational activities for outdoor enthusiasts. As well, we are close to Lake of the Prairies, an excellent fishing and boating lake with camping opportunities, along with East and West Goose Lakes, which are within the town limits. In addition, the wide-open countryside offers an opportunity for many snowmobile and ATV trails.

For anybody that wishes to visit or host a function, Roblin has an outstanding community hall, a fully-serviced campground and hotels. We also have a number of retail and commercial businesses that complete our community.

Roblin is a very active community with a number of clubs and organizations including churches, the drop-in centre, senior organizations and volunteer groups, such as the Roblin Life and Art Centre. Additionally, our community offers support services such as the HERO club, the Food Bank, and of course our local volunteer fire department.

Whether you are looking for a place to live or just visiting, you will find a friendly, safe and progressive community that operates with a core of volunteers that value the small town living spirit. While here, please take the time to partake in one of the many activities that occur in the community over the year, from the Rodeo and Agriculture Fair, the many ball tournaments, July 1st celebrations, the weekly Farmers’ Market, Art and Craft Show and the Parade of Lights at Christmas time. In addition, Roblin has a museum that is worth a visit in the summer, especially during their Museum Days.

Feel free to browse our web site for information on our facilities, parks, services, and local and regional links. We are sure you will find something that interests you from our many programs and recreational activities.
